Get Your Business on Apple Maps
Roughly half the phones in the US are iPhones, and Apple Maps is what they open by default. It is free to claim, most local businesses never do, and that is exactly why it is worth ten minutes of your time.
How to get listed on Apple Maps
Apple Business Connect is Apple’s free tool for managing how your business appears across Apple Maps, Siri, Spotlight, Wallet and CarPlay. If your business already appears on Apple Maps, you are claiming an existing place rather than creating one.
- Sign in at businessconnect.apple.com with an Apple Account — use a business one, not a personal account
- Search for your business and claim the existing place card if there is one
- Verify ownership, usually by phone call or a document that proves the business is yours
- Complete the place card: hours, category, photos, logo, and the actions you want offered
- Add Showcases — Apple’s promotional cards for offers and updates, which most competitors ignore
Why bother when you already have Google
Because the customer holding an iPhone never sees your Google listing when they tap Maps or ask Siri for a business like yours. Apple Maps is the default on every iPhone, and CarPlay puts it on the dashboard. The listings are also far less contested than Google’s, so a complete profile stands out more for less work.
- Default maps app on every iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and CarPlay dashboard
- Feeds Siri and Spotlight answers when someone asks for a nearby business
- Far fewer businesses have claimed theirs, so complete profiles stand out
- Apple pulls data from third parties if you do not claim it — which is how wrong hours end up published
What we do
We claim and verify the place card, fix whatever Apple has wrong about you, load photos and hours, and set up Showcases. It is part of the same listings work we do everywhere else, because the value comes from every platform agreeing on the same details.
- Claim and verification handled for you
- Place card completed properly, not just filled in
- Details kept in sync with Google, Bing and 140+ other directories
- Showcases set up and refreshed so the listing keeps working
